I was just thinking, we have a lot of Old Members who haven't visited the site in ages, perhaps a mass e-mail informing them the site is still open?

yea. the google one was trying to convince them to come back, post there new websites and hopefully rake a few to stay, of course someone on google is well worth advertising on. appears they did't take bait.
