Ads... not that I remember... make sure you download the free version though, no biggy if you don't, just uninstall, then reinstall. Lol, gotta love it.

Truthfully, you have to download it to understand it. The site may say things as such, but mine has no problem doing anything with it. (and my comp is horrible >.<) I dunno the transfer rate, I just download songs... and listen to them lol, takes 10 minutes (ish) on mine.
